I can not believe this has come up so fast! I have two more nights at home, then I'm taking off on a plane again for another amazing summer! Today it has really hit, I finished work, I'm not back there until October. I'm finished packing (I think) and thats it!


I've said my 'see you laters' and I'm off again. I can't wait to meet my friend Pam in New York, stay with her for a couple of nights and then get picked up by another friend, Hollie, and taken to camp. I can't wait to drive along the familiar roads surrounding camp and to catch the first glimpse of the entrance... and I especially can't wait to jump into the lake for the first time of the summer!

Good luck to everyone packing and preparing for camp in the next few weeks, and safe travels to all!

- When one of my campers held my hand in his, then looked me in the eye and touched our matching friendship bracelets saying 'I'll never forget you because of this'

- Jumping into the lake on the last morning with some of the best friends I'll ever make

- Meeting campers and staff from all over the world

- Receiving notes and hand made gifts from campers 

                                               ...especially when they list my fave animals

- Overnight activities with campers (and the other counsellors..!)

- Buying my gumboots for $8 at the local thrift shop

- This reaction when my campers found out they'd signed up for the same activities

...and the opportunity to go back and do it all again!
