Our campers have two periods in the morning, which is when they go to their land activities. When all campers have arrived, they have the chance to go and sign up to activities. They can sign up with any friend in their age group (5-8 year olds and 9-13 year olds), it is not restricted to their counsellor groups.

They can sign up to a new activity every period, every day of the week. The periods run from 9:30-10:30 and 10:45-11:45! Each day, there are counsellors assigned to an activity, who assist the specialists in running the activity as required.

As noted by the asterisks' above, the majority of the activities have specialists which lead them. These are staff which are hired specifically for the teaching of that activity.

Campers have the opportunity to choose up to ten different activities across the entire week, however most find their favourite combinations and stick to them!!!

#wetweatheratcamp

This afternoon, instead of swimming and boating, we needed to run a wet weather timetable as the thunder prevented us from being in the lake. For our group activity we had a gaslight theater where two groups of different ages combined and spent 1.5 hours practicing before performing in front of all of the other campers and counsellors!!

We had impressions of counsellors, the Harlem shake, fairy tales, mafia to music, 'pequot idol' and a sing along

Photos are below!!
